Diego Boada, Ph.D., EMBA
Instructional Designer
Dr. Diego A. Boada is an educator, researcher, and instructional designer from Colombia with over 15 years of experience. Diego uses learning science and EdTech to find scalable solutions for learning and performance problems in multicultural environments. Diego has designed online learning experiences for more than a dozen universities and organizations in Colombia, the US, and the UK. Diego started his career as an English teacher to speakers of other languages. As a Fulbright scholar, Diego earned his M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology at the University of Georgia (UGA). He also holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. In 2019, Diego completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pedagogy for culturally and linguistically diverse students at UGA's Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education. Before joining the Center for Teaching Excellence, Diego worked for various EdTech startup companies and consulted for the Inter-American Development Bank.
